Each competing school is allowed to enter 2 teams per grade (7, 8, 9) and category (singles girls + boys, doubles girls + boys, mixed doubles). Top two teams from each category move on to compete in the Regionals Tournament.
All competitions are held at the venues Charlie Killam School, the Field House and Camrose Composite High School.
École Charlie Killam School offers representative league basketball. We offer competitive basketball, with 2 girl’s teams and 2 boy’s teams. The 2 teams of each gender play in the same league and are evenly chosen because of this. The season runs from December through February. The teams will play every school in the league once, plus play-offs at the divisional and regional level, and play in 3 tournaments.
Grade 6 students are offered developmental introduction to the sport, where they learn the basics of the game, have fun and play some friendly exhibition games. All grade 6 students from our school are welcome.
