École Charlie Killam School offers representative track and field. The season runs from May through to early June.
Our ÉCKS Track & Field Meet is Thursday, May 8, 2025.
If your child will not be coming to school on May 8, please email us at cksgenvm@brsd.ab.ca or call the office.
STUDENTS SHOULD PACK:
- Gym Shoes (should lace up)
- Gym Clothes
- Sweater or Jacket (it might be a bit windy)
- Water bottle (there is no filling station)
- Hat
- Money for concession (no change given at concession)
- Lunch and snacks if not buying for the concession
TRACK & FIELD INFORMATION
- Students will be bussed to and from the Comp from our school during regular school hours. ÉCKS 2025 Track & Field Meet Schedule
- Students are NOT ALLOWED to leave the Comp Field at anytime during the meet. This includes not being able to enter the Comp building as well.
- There will be a concession on-site. Track Concession Menu May 8, 2025
- If you will be picking up your child from the Comp, a Track Meet Decline Transportation Form MUST be completed. ONCE A STUDENT CHECKS OUT AT THE ADMIN DESK AND LEAVES FOR THE DAY - THEY CAN NOT RETURN.
- To avoid delays or missed communication, if you are planning to allow your student to leave the Comp field early, our office must be informed ahead of time & a Decline Transportation Form must be provided. (There will also be an office staff member on-site at the Track Meet that students are required to check-out with at the time their parents provided.)
- Students will be in transportation from 2:30-3:30. We are unable to accommodate parent pick-ups from 2:30-3:30 this day. If you are requiring to pick-up your child on Track & Field Day during this time, please make alternative arrangements.
