Parents of French Immersion students do not need to speak French. There are many ways to support your child:
- Watch television shows or movies in French.
- Listen to music or podcasts in French.
- Allow them to speak, read, and explore in French as often as possible.
- Encourage your student to carry on French conversations with teachers, peers, community members, etc.
- Participate in French cultural activities and events.
- Travel and explore destinations where French is the spoken language.
