Alberta Education Parent Payment Portal Now Open - October 15, 2025

The Honourable Demetrios Nicolaides, Minister of Education and Childcare, has announced that the Government of Alberta Parent Payment Program is now open for applications to support families with children aged 12 years and under who may be affected by a teacher strike in Alberta.

Guardians will need their child's Alberta Student Number (ASN) to apply for payments.

To keep your child's information secure, we cannot give out ASNs over the phone. However, you can easily find it yourself!

Here’s how: Log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal using a web browser (not the mobile app). The ASN will be located on your child's profile.

Important: The ASN is not available on the PowerSchool mobile app, so please be sure to use a web browser on your computer, tablet, or phone.

Here are the instructions in this link: How to find student ASN

Address Change - Login to PowerSchool web browser, not the app, and then into School Engage and complete the Student Registration and Verification form. If you have already completed the form and your address is not updated, please email the school at cksgenvm@brsd.ab.ca. If you need a new Student Registration and Verification form assigned, please email us at cksgenvm@brsd.ab.ca and we will assign one.

Please go to the PowerSchool Parent Instructions & Information page of our website for more information.
