Programs & Services

The learning environment of École Charlie Killam School offers the middle school student a variety of opportunities to take risks, to actively participate in their learning and to develop their independence and identity.

École Charlie Killam School provides outstanding instruction and support to students in grades 6, 7 and 8.  Within this structure we have a regular English program, an Early French Immersion program (where students have started in kindergarten or grade 1), a Late French Immersion program (where students start learning French in gr. 6), a Reaching Independence through Structured Education (R.I.S.E.) program and a Hockey Academy program. 

In addition, École Charlie Killam School offers extracurricular programs that include a variety of top-notch athletics, an award-winning band program, and a staged spring musical through our Drama Club.  We also offer a Mental Health Capacity Building program, Family School Liaison Worker, Breakfast Club and Hot Lunch program.
