The city of Camrose has a population of about 18 000 people and is located 100 km southeast of Edmonton. École Charlie Killam School the only public middle school for grades 6-8 and we have a total of 400+ students registered. The students come from the four city public elementary schools as well as the surrounding area.

Philosophy
École Charlie Killam School follows a middle school philosophy. We believe that middle school is the best place for young adolescents to launch a successful future. To do that, we must be responsive to their specific needs. Middle school learners need to be engaged in active and purposeful learning to develop their independence, to build positive and strong relationships and to demonstrate courage and responsibility.
